Durable aluminum body with precise CNC machining

The body of the Dartmoor Thunder pedals is made from high-quality aluminum alloy and finished using CNC machining. This technology guarantees precise shaping, removal of excess material to optimize weight, and above all, high structural strength. If you miss a rock or stump on the trail and strike it at full speed, the aluminum body absorbs the impact without cracking. The generous 105 × 97 mm platform perfectly supports your foot and evenly distributes pressure, significantly reducing foot fatigue during long descents and demanding all-day rides.

Low 19 mm profile and aggressive replaceable pins

The pedal profile with a height of 19 mm keeps your foot close to the axle. This improves bike control in technical sections, increases pedaling efficiency, and reduces the risk of unwanted pedal strikes against terrain obstacles. Maximum traction is handled by 10 steel pins on each side (total of 20 pins per pedal). The pins are strategically positioned to naturally lock your shoe sole in the center of the pedal. Furthermore, all pins are fully replaceable using a standard wrench, allowing you to easily substitute them with new ones if worn or damaged.

Reliable internal assembly: Cr-Mo axle, sealed bearing, and DU bushing

Long lifespan and trouble-free pedal operation are ensured by a durable Cr-Mo (chromoly) steel axle, capable of handling the hardest jump landings. Smooth rotation without annoying play is managed by a combination of one sealed industrial cartridge bearing and a special gliding DU bushing. The sealed bearing is protected against water and dirt ingress, while the DU bushing maintains high structural rigidity of the entire system. What should I do if the pins wear down or get lost?

All steel pins are fully replaceable. You can easily unscrew them using an Allen key and replace them with new spare pins, which can be purchased separately.
