Evolved from the popular low-top Vice, the Ride Concepts Vice Mid – Andreu Lacondeguy Signature Edition adds extra ankle protection, impact resistance, and a distinctive design inspired by the freeride legend himself. Built for Dirt Jump, BMX, Slopestyle, Freestyle, and Street, these shoes blend lifestyle aesthetics with world-class performance.

Design and Construction

The synthetic suede upper is durable, breathable, and perforated for ventilation. The mid-top cut protects the ankle without restricting movement, while the TPU toe cap and internal reinforcements add impact protection. Fully gusseted tongue design keeps out dust, mud, and debris, while metal eyelets ensure long-term durability. Every detail has been refined to perform on the bike and still look great off it — from the iconic “Ride Every Day” lace rings to Andreu’s signature color accents.

Pedal Feel and Grip

The Vice Mid features the exclusive RC Fuzion outsole — an inverse, sloped-angle hexagon tread pattern that brings the pedal closer to the rider for unmatched control and sensitivity. The tread varies from 9 mm at the toe and heel to 7 mm at the pedal zone, allowing the pedal pins to “inject” into the sole for maximum feel. Constructed with Rubber Kinetics | DST 6.0 High Grip compound (co-developed with Goodyear), it delivers exceptional traction on pedals and long-term durability for hard riding.

Comfort and Protection

A 3 mm EVA midsole adds shock absorption and comfort for all-day sessions. Inside, the D3O® High Impact Zone insole absorbs vibrations and reduces fatigue from repeated impacts. Reinforced heel and toe zones increase stability and support, while the padded ankle collar keeps the fit secure and comfortable during big landings.
