Design & Construction

The welded microfiber upper combines weather resistance with breathability, keeping your feet dry without sacrificing comfort. Its seamless construction minimizes weak points, while the fully gusseted tongue prevents dirt and debris from entering. An asymmetrical medial collar reinforced with D3O® impact protection guards the ankle from crank strikes and side impacts. The additional Powerstrap closure provides a secure, stable fit over the laces for extra support.

Pedal Connection & Power Transfer

Engineered for clipless performance, the Transition features a 40 mm Oversize Cleat Box for effortless pedal entry and a longer cleat adjustment range. The RC PowerDrive nylon shank offers precisely tuned stiffness for efficient power transfer while maintaining comfort on long rides. This combination ensures a direct, confident connection with your pedals on any terrain.

Grip & Stability

The outsole is made from DST 8.0 MID GRIP rubber, developed in collaboration with Rubber Kinetics / Goodyear. It delivers balanced traction both on and off the bike. The hexagonal tread pattern provides exceptional pedal hold and additional grip when walking or hiking technical sections. A nylon heel counter increases lateral stability and reduces fatigue during aggressive riding.
